Healthy Recipes: Chia & Pear Breakfast (or Pudding) Bowls

The pears can be substituted with any fruit of choice (apples, blueberries, mango, banana, strawberries etc)


  • 2 T chia seeds
  • 1/4 C milk
  • 1 t vanilla essence
  • 2 T yoghurt
  • 1 t honey or maple syrup
  • 1 sliced pear
  • a sprinkle of cinnamon
  • 1/2 handful of homemade granola or a selection of seeds and nuts


  • Mix the chia seeds with the milk in a pudding bowl or glass and let them soak while you fry the pears in a pan with some water for 5 minutes.
  • Add the vanilla essence, yoghurt and honey to the bowls.
  • Top with the soft pears, granola and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
