Returns, Refunds & Exchanges Policy
Exchanges Policy: Return Window
According to our Exchanges Policy You may return eligible items within 14 days of delivery.
Eligible Returns
- Unused
- In their original packaging
- Accompanied by proof of purchase
Non-Returnable Items
We do not accept returns or exchanges on the following:
- Custom-made or personalised items
- Sale items or clearance items
- Perishables (food, flowers, etc.)
- Digital goods (PDFs, e-books)
- Hygiene items (toothbrushes, cosmetics, etc.)
Refunds
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method
- Processing time: 7–10 working days from approval
- Change of mind: R300 courier fee will be deducted unless you opt for store credit
Exchanges
Exchanges are only permitted if:
- The item is defective or damaged, and/or
- The request is made within 14 days of delivery
To request an exchange, email orders@localislekkerza.co.za with clear photos and order details.
Gift Returns
- If the item was marked as a gift, we’ll issue store credit
- If not marked as a gift, the refund will go to the original purchaser
Warranty (CPA Compliance)
You are covered by the Consumer Protection Act’s 6-month warranty for manufacturing defects.
This does not apply if:
- The product was misused or not cared for correctly
- The defect was disclosed at the time of sale and accepted by the buyer
- The item is a non-returnable product (as listed above)
