Spring Day: Spring Blooms at a Stellenbosch Farm, South Africa

In the Cape Winelands, Spring Day arrives with the soft rustle of new leaves and the scent of blossoms drifting over the vineyard rows. On a family farm near Stellenbosch, a mother and daughter have always marked the first day of spring by planting something new. This year feels different. The daughter now lives in Johannesburg and cannot join her mother in person.

She wanted to send more than flowers. Flowers fade. She needed a gift that would last, that would speak of the season’s renewal and their shared tradition of growing things together.
