Dear Readers,

I thought that today’s blog post should be an introduction to all the books that I have written so far.

Let’s get into it…

Sophia’s Safari: An African Animal Alphabet Series (22 book set)

These are the first books I wrote. I actually wrote them for Sophia when she started grade 1 to introduce the alphabet to her in a more fun, relatable way. My family and a few close friends saw them and said that I should share them with the world…and so, here we are.

Embark on an educational journey through the African bushveld with Sophia and her family as they head out and explore the bush. This captivating collection of 22 stories takes readers on a thrilling adventure, introducing them to a diverse array of African animals from A to Z. From majestic lions to playful meerkats, each story not only entertains but also educates, shedding light on the importance of wildlife conservation and the beauty of nature.

Once I had written books about Sophia, my little boy, Asher, also wanted his own books and so Asher’s series was born. In sticking with what ‘little wild boys’ would want to read, a selection of survival, adventure books were made.

Asher’s Survival Guide

Asher’s Amazing Adventure

Join Asher, his friend, Sfiso, and their trusty dog Tracker on an unforgettable farm adventure where you get to choose the outcome! In Asher’s Amazing Adventure, readers are invited to participate in the story, making decisions that will shape the course of their journey. Along the way, they’ll encounter obstacles and learn valuable lessons about teamwork, resilience, and friendship. With multiple endings to discover, this interactive tale offers endless opportunities for creativity and imagination.

At this point, Asher was also learning to read, so a set of readers about him on the farm were created to get a busy little boy to sit still for two seconds and read.

Fun on the Farm Readers for Grade 1

A set of 26 A5 readers from A – Z for grade 1 learners. Fun stories about Asher on the farm while learning sight words and focusing on letter recognition.

Now that Asher is learning phonics, it is only apt that a phonics set of readers are made to join the collection of educational, relatable, reading books.

Fun on the Farm Phonic Readers for Grade 2

A brand new set of readers for grade 2 learners, learning the difference phonic sounds. The first 6 books are available now with more to come to the set.

And then Isla-Mae needed her series too… Isla-Mae loves insects. Like, REALLY loves them.

Isla-Mae’s Imagination Series

African Shenanigans (Foreword by Tony Park)

Released in the beginning of this year, and possibly one of my favourite projects to date, the African Shenanigan book is pretty epic! Join three explorers (Sophia, Asher and Isla-Mae) on an epic journey across the African continent in African Shenanigans. From the deserts of Namibia to the rainforests of Congo, this informative and entertaining book chronicles the adventures of three children as they travel through every country in Africa.
