These terms and conditions (t’s and c’s) govern the use of our online marketplace and the purchase of products from our store. By using our website, you accept these terms and conditions in full. We undertake to immediately destroy your information should you choose to cancel your registration.  

Product Information:

We make every effort to provide accurate and complete product information, including pricing and availability- however, there may be instances where we are unable to guarantee this.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue products without prior notice. We also reserve the right to limit the quantity of products that customers may purchase.
By accepting these t’s and c’s you indemnify us, any of our employees and assigns in full for any damages which may arise, delictual or otherwise, by your reliance on the information provided by us in relation to any product, its modification or discontinuation.

Payment:

Payment for products must be made at the time of purchase. We accept various payment methods, including Payfast and Yoco and direct EFTs -electronic funds transfer. The t’s and c’s applicable to these payment methods/payment providers are not a part of our t’s and c’s and therefore, any concerns, issues, complaints or queries you may have in relation to these will have to be discussed with the party processing the payment and not with us.  

Should payment be reversed or not received, your product(s) will not be delivered to you. It is your responsibility to ensure that the payment has been processed successfully.

Shipping and Delivery:

We currently use The Courier Guy for our shipping and delivery needs. As this is a third party service provider, we are unable to guarantee specific delivery dates or times. Shipping costs are calculated at the time of purchase and are payable by you as the customer.

We are not liable for any damages or losses resulting from the use of our online marketplace or the purchase of products from our store, including but not limited to, direct, indirect, incidental, and consequential damages. By accepting these t’s and c’s you confirm that you indemnify us, our employees and any of our assigns for any damages or losses which may arise due to your use of this platform.

Artisan Products:

We sell artisan products on our online marketplace that are handmade and unique. We do not have control over the final product, and variations may occur due to the handmade nature of the product.
We make every effort to provide accurate product descriptions and images, but there may be slight variations in colour, size, and design from the product images displayed on our website.
We do not guarantee that artisan products will be identical to the product images displayed on our website, and we are not liable for any dissatisfaction arising from these variations, nor will we refund you in the event that you wish to return the product(s).

Customers should also note that artisan products may have different care instructions or usage recommendations as opposed to mass-produced products. It is the customer’s responsibility to carefully read and follow any care instructions or usage recommendations provided with the artisan’s product(s).

Governing Law:

These t’s and c’s are governed by the laws of The Republic of South Africa. In the event that a dispute arising out of or related to these t’s and c’s are being unable to be resolved amicably, we reserve the right to proceed with litigation which shall be instituted out of the relevant Court with jurisdiction.

Age Restriction:

Our online marketplace and the products sold on our website are intended for use by individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By using our website and making a purchase, you certify that you are at least 18 years old, or alternatively, have been assisted by a parent or legal guardian.

We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or cancel orders at our discretion if we believe a customer is under the age of 13 or has made a purchase without the involvement and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
